A Life In Cars

The life story of Dickie Sutherland

The HR all cleaned up and ready for sale

Selling the HR

After the wedding in 2016, Jenna and I were seriously considering a move overseas and after much debate, the HR Holden was for sale.

I has consulted with Dad (Richard) and offer the car to my cousin Grant but it was clear; it was time to sell the HR Holden. Jenna and I we’re hoping to move to Norway in the coming months and it seemed like there would nowhere to store the HR.

So reluctantly, it was time to sell grandpa’s HR.

After being on the market for about 6 weeks and old a couple of bites, a nice bloke called Paul from Launceston drove off in the HR and still has it to this day. Who knows, perhaps we’ll get a chance to buy it back one day?
